The Easy Web Update System
The Easy Web Update System is my response to three needs that storytellers (and those who use storytelling in their work) have:
1. Storytellers need a web presence. This is a no-brainer today: You need a website, or people can't find you. People won't take you seriously, just as if you didn't have a telephone. And you need one that has its own domain name (e.g., www.douglipman.com or www.yourname.com). Anything less is amateurish.
2. Storytellers need websites that can be changed easily and quickly. An out-of-date website is a site that's not bringing in the work that it could.
3. Storytellers need websites that give a sense of who they are. They need to be able to add audio or video. They need to be able to add photo galleries and other interactive, multi-media pages that give a true sense of who they are as storytellers.
